you have some really great art. How come you never explain how you made it or even the products you used? I would love if you shared some of your techniques. Thanks, Susan

Hi Susan, I apologize for just finding your comment at this moment. To answer your question, I guess I was just tired. We were visiting my Mom in Illinois for the holidays and it was hectic, but fun. Finding time to create was tricky and making sure to hit my midnight deadline before I can sleep is even harder.

During the year, I tried to write at least something, but sort of stopped at the end.

Regardless, I have nothing to hide!

This "weaving" is symbolic of all the rushing around shared beauty of the season. I used card stock strips from thank you cards I'd just trimmed, water color paints, and scraps of wrapping papers that had been discarded.

I used a 4x6 piece of card stock as a base and then glued down the pieces I wove. I added in partial weddings, painted bits and lines, and glued down the fancy pink scraps of paper with a glue stick.

If you have questions about any other pieces, please let me know :)
Happy to share- sometimes too tired to post.
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
